Antiques + Modernism Winnetka
Branding | Print Design | Web Design
Branding | Print Design | Web Design
I had done print and web design for both the Winnetka Antiques Show and Modernism Show for several years before the decision was made to combine the two. The idea was that most consumers wanted to mix styles in their homes, and that a mixed show would be very appealing.
After a lot of research and work with the show committee, we found that there wasn't a singular idea that represented both design eras. Instead, we focused on the actual combination, adding the two to create something more–just as one would do with the pieces in their home.
For print designs and advertisements, I created illustrations pairing iconic design pieces from different areas, split in the middle and reversed out of gold or red.
The look is used in print advertisements, web ads, posters, invitations and a program book for the show.
