Centennial Gala
Winnetka Community House
For the Community House's Centennial Gala, I wanted to continue on the theme that I'd built with the Centennial logo and the 100th Birthday Party, which had a lot of period type and style. I had recently been fawning over designs from the Sanborn Map Company. The intricate lines and ornament were a perfect fit for both the time period and the style of the event. It was one of the easiest pitches I have ever done. It was a harder sell to our printer, who was nervous about printing the thin lines, but it ended up looking great.
For the online invitation, I animated the original design to make it look like it was blossoming.
